"Blogging can be problematic to people that uses this type of media, and it can help put issues to rest by bloggers using informational resources. It can be a problem in a few ways. One way is when bloggers have a passionate argument online using vulgar words, in which is a form of cyber-bullying called flaming (Nuccitelli, 2017). Flaming is counterproductive and could get out of control if bloggers let it. Military troops in Afghanistan and Iraq used blogs called Milblogs to share their experiences in the war zones. This is a good thing, however, it can be problematic when troops over share information putting other troops lives in danger. The enemy has internet access too and can gain pertinent information if a milblogger is not mindful of what is posted. Bloggers in the past have gathered information to help solve a problem. CBS News' Dan Rather had a memorandum claiming former president Bush violated terms of military service during the Vietnam war, and bloggers proved the memorandums were not legit (Gale, 2007)."
