A 68 year old woman with OA presents for an annual wellness exam. You discover that she is currently taking apsirin 325 mg tid alternating with ibuprofen 400 mg bid. What plan would be most appropriate to assist this patient in pain management? Group of answer choices Discontinue the ibuprofen and continue the aspirin 325 mg tid. Darvocet N® 100 1 to 2 tablets PO PRN for severe pain and Tylenol 1,000 mg PRN. Assess stool for occult blood, CBC, and liver function tests and initiate ibuprofen 800 mg every 4 hours on a scheduled basis and discontinue the aspirin. Discontinue both aspirin and ibuprofen and check hemocult, CBC, BUN, creatinine. Start acetaminophen on a scheduled basis not to exceeed 3 grams per day.
