Case/ Storyline: Amber is 25 years old. She has an infant son with Julius and the couple has lived together off and on for eight years. One evening, the couple began to argue and at one point, Amber grabbed Julius by his hair and began pulling it. He broke free and fled the residence. She followed him outside and the argument continued until Amber returned to the apartment and locked the door. Julius knocked on the door and asked to be allowed inside to retrieve several personal items before leaving for the night. Amber opened the door and allowed Julius to enter, but as he was gathering his things she went to the kitchen and retrieved two large knives. She then threatened to stab him with the knives and chased him out of the residence. Once outside, Amber continued to chase Julius, making slashing and stabbing motions toward him, screaming "I'll cut your throat." Julius was able to signal a neighbor to call 911 and Amber returned to the residence once she was aware police had been called. Responding officers determined that both parties had been drinking. Amber was placed under arrest for felonious domestic violence and transported to jail without incident.

Amber pled guilty to a reduced charge of domestic violence.
