- In this presentation we are going to be focusing on the HIPAA laws for the state of Atlanta.
- HIPAA is an act that regulates health care practices ensuring high levels of privacy as well as confidentiality and also enhancing accessibility to care services(Iyer, Levin, Shea & Ashton, (2006).
- We are also going to be looking at the impact of laws in health care, issues of regulation and accreditation as well as regulation trends and issues.
- While looking at the impact that the HIPAA laws has had on the healthcare industry we are going to focus on the challenges as well as the benefits that the laws has brought.
