Film Analysis Project
Choose and select a well-known film that contains work-related topics and thoroughly analyze it using concepts learned in this course (MGMT 3720 - Organizational Behavior). You must deliver a presentation that describes the analysis of the film. Use the following format when conducting the analysis:
1. Introduction
2. Summary of Film
3. Character Analysis
4. Group Dynamics or Power and Politics
5. Conclusions
1. Introduction
a. Basic information about the film (i.e., released date, awards, length of film, director, producer, actors/actresses).
b. Lists the main concepts related to organizational behavior (e.g., leadership, power, conflict resolution, teamwork, etc.) that are addressed in the film.
2. Summary of Film
a. Setting (description of the organization, year, geographical area, etc.)
b. Beginning, plot, and ending
3. Character Analysis
a. Description of Each Character
a. Character Analysis. Use theories learned in class to write a narrative of each character. For example, Big Five Model, Holland's Typology of personality, need for achievement theory, etc. Include diagrams and/or illustrations.
