All Powerpoints used in the presentations must be posted as attachments to Canvas Discussions (along with your video link if you use video). Make sure to post early in case you have issues. Double Check that your PPT file is there and it opens. Anything that does not open will receive an automatic grade of 0-Save your presentation in different places so that is something happens you have back-ups-APA reference format must be used for any information not from the textbook: It is your responsibility to learn APA-For images retrieved from the web give the URL and date retrieved-Any presentation not in APA will lose marks or receive a grade of 0 and be subject to the academic dishonesty policy-Use the textbook as the main source of information for your presentation. (you do not have to reference info from the textbook) You are expected to also use of minimum of 3 outside sources to supplement textbook information for the Presentation.-you are to find supplemental images/photos/diagrams/etc. online and use them in your presentation-Must in-text reference all material and images as well as note them on a reference page that will be the last page(s) of the PP-This is not a "copy-paste" assignment and use of this tactic will result in a loss of marks...put material (from text and online sources) into your own concise words-There is no set number of slides and it is up to you to decide how many to use in your 5-6 minute presentation -Practice your presentation so you know how long it will be-Double Check to make sure the files you post open and work correctly

How to hand in your presentation: Narrated Powerpoint...all audio must automatically play when a slide is advanced-make sure you know how to do this well before the due date-All presentations must be posted with PPT file attached in Canvas Discussions. Make sure to post early in case you have issues and to check to make sure it is posted and it opens on LC computers.

Material in presentation is presented in a logical manner and includes information that is at the level with expectations in course. Material presented is scientific and uses resources that are outlined in assignment sheet.

Does the presentation play automatically? The viewer should only have to press play once...not for each slide

Overall impression with presentation. Quality of the PPT/Video. Did the presenter do anything to make the presentation standout?

Was it easy to read and follow? Was it interesting and educational? Was the presenter just reading slides or were they a guide and the presenter knew the material? You are expected to know your material and should not be just reading slides or notes.
