At the Hamilton Civic Center, workshops are offered to the community to address fitness, health, and wellness issues. For this project, you develop a presentation for an upcoming series about helping families become more active. This project has been modified for use in SIMnet.

1. Open the PP2016-IndependentProject-1-6 start file. Click the Enable Editing button in the Message Bar. The file will be renamed automatically to include your name. Change the project file name if directed to do so by your instructor.
2. Select the Retrospect theme.
3. Change the following theme options:
Theme Colors: Yellow Orange
Background Styles: Style 6
Theme Fonts: Arial Black-Arial
4. Display slide 1 and type the following text:
Title: Pedestrian Safety Matters
Subtitle: Keeping That New Year's Resolution To Be More Active
5. Select the subtitle text and change the case to Capitalize Each Word.
6. Insert a picture and resize the placeholders.
a. Insert the picture Walk1-01 downloaded from the Resources link.
b. Change the picture Height to 7.5" and choose Align Top and Align Left so you have room for text on the right.
c. Change text alignment for the title and subtitle placeholders to Align Left. Resize the placeholders so the text wraps as shown in Figure 1-113.
7. Reuse slides from another presentation.
a. Open the Reuse Slides pane and browse to find PedestrianSafety-01 downloaded from the Resources link.
b. Insert all five slides and close the Reuse Slides pane.
8. Display slide 2. Put your insertion point in front of the word "Guard" and press Enter to show this text as the last item in the list.
9. Correct the following spelling errors: pedestrians, aggressive, Remember, Regardless, and cloudy.
10. Adjust slide order to match the sequence shown in Figure 1-114.
11. Add a footer with the text Pedestrian Safety Matters. Apply it to all slides except the title slide.
12. Insert and position a picture.
a. Display slide 6. From your student data files, insert the picture Walk2-01 downloaded from the Resources link.
b. Change the picture Height to 7.5".
c. Position the picture with Align Top and Align Right.
13. Apply the Push transition with the From Right effect option to all slides.
14. Preview the transitions in Slide Show view.
15. Open the Properties dialog box and insert the following presentation properties on the Summary tab:
Title: Pedestrian Safety Matters
Subject: Active Lifestyle
Author: Anna Lorenzo
16. Close the Properties dialog box.
17. Save and close the presentation (Figure 1-115).
18. Upload and save your project file.
19. Submit project for grading.
