Change is necessary within organizations. An organization cannot compete in today's competitive environment unless it is continuously changing and developing. For example, consider the company Blockbuster, which at one point was a leader in terms of video rentals. However, Blockbuster has closed all but one of its locations and has been taken over by companies like Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon.

Assume you have taken a leadership role in First National Bank of Bastrop in Texas, and you have been selected to lead the organization into the future (a role some in HR are now assuming). Address all of the following questions:

1. Define First National Bank of Bastrop in Texas (major products or services, impact on the economy, number of employees, etc.) and the industry trends so the reader understands the importance and particulars of the industry

2. Explain why the organization needs to change, and the dangers if they do not change.

3. Finally, present one initiative or strategy that your organization must create/develop to maintain their competitive position in the industry, and why.
