Scenario

You have just celebrated your first anniversary as the Human Resource Manager at the Indo Golf & Country club. The club has been around for over six years. The country club has experienced steady growth, both in size of staff and annual revenues, and while the management team has spent time setting some foundational policies and practices, you have been a key contributor to championing and implementing the Job analysis and the Job Evaluation Initiatives.

In particular, you have spent the last year educating the management team as well as the organization on the compensation approach that makes the most sense for the country club. Specifically, you have built internal awareness and have led initiatives on Job Analysis, Job Evaluation and in recent weeks finalized and presented the organization's new pay program to the management team. The president has asked you to present an overview of Pay for Performace to inform their decision on whether they should consider introducing this at the country club.
