For your initial posting, conduct a literature search of current news sources and publications (within the last two years) for a source that discusses a legal or ethical issue related to the use of health information technology in the health care environment. Identify moral dilemmas in healthcare informatics that would best be approached with the use of an ethical decision-making framework. Present a summary of the issue you have recognized and provide a link to the source as well as appropriate citations.

As you read the legal and ethical issues that are presented, realize that many of these issues are real problems that demand solutions. When responding to your colleagues, discuss any solutions that have been proposed for these or similar issues in recent news or literature. Then, research and apply a theoretical, ethical model to manage these legal and ethical dilemmas in nursing informatics.
