Energy Technology Project
Objective: To create and present a professional document for an energy portfolio for a small to medium sized commercial operation.
Teams: 1-3
Description: The project will aim to make a facility more environmentally friendly while saving the company costs though materials and/or utility bills. The proposal will entail several parts that must be qualitatively and/or quantitatively addressed in both the final proposal and the presentation:
• Executive Summary
• A list of ideas
• A description of the qualitative and quantitative benefits of each idea
• Implementation plan(s) for each idea
• Summary/Conclusion
• Works cited
Deliverables: A professional document will be delivered at the end and shall include:
• Written narrative
• Supporting documents, charts, tables, drawings, images, etc.
• A timeline for implementation
• Professional presentation
Presentation: Each group will have 5-10 minutes to present their proposal. It should outline and highlight the best and most important points of the proposal. Included shall be:
• The list of ideas
• The approximate costs and return on investment of each idea
• The proposed timeline for each idea and the whole project
