Assessment - Board Presentation

You are required to work in your group to prepare and present a case for the governing body of your selected nonprofit organisation justifying an organisational shift.

Working in your group, review the Western Australian or Australian nonprofit organisation that you chose for Assessment 2 and identify possible organisational shifts.

You are the CEO of this nonprofit organisation. Over the last three months you have been working with the Board Strategy Committee to review potential strategic choices for the organisation. You now need to prepare a case to the whole Board for the organisation to shift its direction. Get professional assignment writing service now!

As a group, you need to determine what will be this organisational shift. It could be that it would be advantageous to, for example,
Move into a new form of service provision
Move out of an existing service provision
Change from an incorporated organisation to a company limited by guarantee
Shift the focus of the organisation
Refine the governance structure.
You can select other organisational shifts than the above list. Your choice of organisational shift must be in line with the chosen organisation's values, directions, culture, and activities.

Prepare a Board presentation pack comprising both A, a short paper (approximately 1000 words) and B, a PowerPoint deck (approximately 15 slides), which your group will present at the simulated Board meeting.

A. The paper will include:
A cover sheet with organisational branding that summarises the purpose in one or two sentences, provides the context, dotpoints the shift, and makes a recommendation to the Board for consideration.
A justification for your proposed organisational shift that argues the case for this change. You could consider aspects such as
