The Job Creation Process (Preparing Job Position Policies)

  1. List, define and include the components of the four major components of the Job Creation Process. B. It is critical that students understand how each of these components relates to each other. Separately from A. above, describe how the Job Analysis relates to the Job Design, how the Job Analysis relates to the Job Description, and how both the Job Analysis and Job Description relate to the Job Specifications. To effectively, you must have a relatively thorough understanding of each component.
  2. Differentiate between the complexity of preparing a qualitative and a quantitative duty or task. You must address the subjective/objective nature of each type of duty or task.
  3. Explain why the Job Analysis is one of the most important concepts in Human Resource Management? Include in your response at least three main areas of HR (three or more chapter topics) where the Job Analysis is heavily used and how it is used in those areas.
