You may upload your submission on the Blackboard assignment page as an attached Word document. If this does not work for you, send it to your instructor as an attached file via email.

Compare the "Rank and File" demands with what is currently contained in the Contract. Consider whether these demands are REASONABLE in light of the benefits that are currently in the contract. For example, compare the wage increases the employees desire and the wage increase that they received in the most recent contract. Also consider whether the proposed increase will keep the employees' pay rates "in line" with the Wage Survey.
Develop your negotiating plan. Use available information on the website to plan items and ranges for negotiation items.
Each negotiation plan should include:
1) A description of the negotiation strategy (adversarial or cooperative such as IBB) as described in your textbook.
2) Describe briefly how you decided on your agenda ranges and priorities. This does not need to be lengthy, but should describe what information you took into account when designing your negotiation plan.
3) A bargaining agenda. Use the three templates below to develop your Minimum Acceptable Settlement (WORST case scenario before employees would strike), your Target/Desired Settlement (BEST case scenario), and Likely Agreed Settlement (MIDDLE ground for both parties).
Develop proposals for Wages, Vacation and Holidays
Develop THREE other proposals of your choosing.
In the final column rank each item from highest to lowest priority
Your submission should include the three templates below along with a 1-2 page long paper that provides your answers to questions 1) and 2) three above.
