Request for Proposal
For this portion of the exam you will prepare a response to a fictitious Request for Proposal. Since students in the class have different backgrounds and experiences I wanted to allow you to draft your response based on your knowledge of a specific area. For example if you have experience training as an EMT base your response on that, if you have experience as a firefighter then base your response on that. It should be a feasible activity. In other words not totally fiction. You should emphasize your personal qualifications for the proposed activity. I am not expecting you to research and collect actual demographic information about your community or those that you propose serving. You can just reference this material as if you had collected it. If you have any questions or are unsure about the assignment please contact me.
Respond to each of section of the RFP:
Background Information: Describe your organization, its mission/objectives, staffing, and accomplishments/qualifications.
How will you respond to our needs (you need to decide this based on your experiences: Live fire training, CPR training, etc.). State exactly, and concisely what you will do.
Who will provide this training and what are their qualifications (can be one or several people)?
Time line for performance.
Budget: What, & how much the services will cost.
