Apply a series of leadership and management skills and style self- assessments and critically analyse the results and reflect on their own leadership inventory, experiences, and past learning in the light of the theories and models covered in the unit and prepare a self- development plan for future leadership growth.

Assessment 3 Management Plan

Based on a Case Study provided, students will prepare a management plan discussing an organisational leadership or management situation, analyzing the paradigms and other factors influencing leadership effectiveness and applying specific leadership theories and frameworks to recommend solutions for
future successful outcomes.

These posters will be displayed and presented in a tutorial class. Thus, this assignment will help students understand key leadership concepts and see their application/impact in real settings.

General Guidelines
The objective of this assignment is to analyse and compare the leadership styles, key personality traits, and achievements of two real leaders to draw conclusions about what makes them effective leaders.
The assignment requires students to create a visual poster on two A3-size pages.
Posters will be displayed and presented in a tutorial class to facilitate discussion and understanding of key leadership concepts.
Students should conduct thorough research on the selected leaders to gather relevant information for analysis.
The focus should be on analysing and comparing the leadership styles, personality traits, and achievements of the selected leaders.
Apply creativity to make your poster eye-catching.
Use of images, charts, and/or graphs will be evaluated very positively.

Structure
Your poster should have the following content/sections.
Introduction:
Brief overview of the assignment and its objectives.
Introduction of the two leaders selected for comparison.
Leadership Style Analysis:
Description and analysis of the leadership styles exhibited by each leader.
Comparison of the leadership styles, highlighting similarities and differences.
Personality Traits:
Identification and analysis of key personality traits of each leader.
Comparison of personality traits, discussing their influence on leadership effectiveness.
Achievements:
Overview of significant achievements and contributions of each leader.
Comparison of achievements, evaluating their impact and relevance to leadership effectiveness.

Additional Instructions/Guidelines:

Assessment 2: Self-Reflection Project
This assignment involves reflecting on your personality traits and emotional intelligence and how they can impact your leadership. Specifically, you will complete one personality assessment and one emotional intelligence assessment tests. Then, you will identify strong and weaker areas of your leadership skills and suggest strategies to improve the weaker areas. In completing this task, you will need to incorporate concepts and theories covered in relevant lectures and tutorials.

Task 2: Reflect on your MBTI results and identify your dominant personality preferences/traits (e.g., Introversion vs. Extraversion, Sensing vs. Intuition, Thinking vs. Feeling, Judging vs. Perceiving).
Task 3: Take your one dominant personality preference/trait and explain how it could influence your leadership style, decision-making process, and interactions with others in a team or organisational setting.
Task 4: Reflect on your EI test results and assess your proficiency in key emotional intelligence competencies such as self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy, social skills, and motivation.
Task 5: Analyse how your level of emotional intelligence could impact your effectiveness as a leader, including your ability to manage stress, communicate effectively, build relationships, and inspire and motivate others.
