Company Research Paper Example

Assignment description

Company research is an effective way to evaluate suitability of a workplace and to prepare for a job interview. Learning about a company helps you understand the corporate culture of that company and provides you with insight into generating intelligent questions and comments during an interview. By researching a company, you may get ideas about how you and the company align in terms of goals and philosophies. It also gives the interviewer a good impression of you if you can speak confidently about their company and the products and/or services they offer. Finally, company research can provide information about the labour market including employment trends, job descriptions, skill requirements, average wage, and business competitors. In this assignment, you will find a job posting that appeals to you, and complete research about that company.  Finally, you may apply to the job if you wish. This assignment is worth 10% of your final score for this course.
