COVID-19 has turned the world upside down when it comes to International trade and business. Imports and exports have plummeted to unprecedented lows and countries are struggling to maintain the value of their currency and the Foreign Exchange Reserves.

So-called super powers' vulnerability has been badly exposed in managing this pandemic. Still the world does not know whether this is a natural virus or a man-made virus. Sri Lanka's exports have been badly affected and the rupee has depreciated to almost Rs. 200/USD. Restricted items of imports in to Sri Lanka runs in to pages.
