Learning Outcome 1: Prepare a proposal for a refurbishment scheme.
Assignment Brief
You have been provided with survey drawings for a proposed refurbishment project. The client has asked you to develop a refurbishment scheme for the building, which should consider all those factors discussed within Assignment 1.
Your response should include the following information:
- a pack of outline drawings, specification and budget costs, comprising floor plans, elevations, typical detailed sections and cost plan.
- a Planning Application pack of information, comprising 1:100 scale plans and elevations and a design statement.
- a Building Regulations pack of information, comprising 1:50 scale plans and elevations, 1:20 scale cross and long sections and 1:5 scale construction details, and a specification.
- a video presentation of your refurbishment proposals.
Drawings may be produced in either hand-drawn or CAD format and must be in accordance with BS1192 collaborative production information.
