Group Project- Related Concepts

For this assignment you will work with a group to prepare a presentation that compares two concepts that are closely related. Your presentation will use the concepts listed below and you will find two peer review articles or evidence based articles to support your work.

Directions

• Faculty will assign groups and the set of concepts for each group.
• You must use at least two peer reviewed or evidence-based articles to support the information you present. There must be at least one article for each concept.
• The presentation must include the following:
• Compare and contrast the two concepts assigned.
• Must show a clear connection between the concept and the article.
• Information must be accurate and demonstrate understanding of the two concepts and the relationship between them, show insight and critical thinking and must use the resources to support the work appropriately.
• A prop (ex: a poster board) or a handout that is neat, clear, organized, and easily understood.
• Appropriate visual aids and graphics are used that meet the audience's knowledge level and the prop provides aesthetic value and holds the attention of the audience.
• All handouts and visual aids must contain the content that is to be presented.
• The presentation must flow smoothly with each member of the group being ready on cue for their part.  Main points must be presented in a logical order with a summary at the end, and time allowed for questions.
• The presentation must be between 15 and 20 minutes in length.
• Group information:
• Groups displays professional, respectful behavior.
• Each group must be ready to present on time, and must ensure any equipment needed for the presentation is available and working prior to presentation time.
• Each student assigned to the group must present a piece of the presentation, be confident with the material they present, maintain eye contact with the audience, and effectively project content with minimal use of notes.
• You must use APA guidelines to cite your peer reviewed or evidence-based articles.
