Technology has had a greater impact on human expression in the 20th century than the other movements addressed this week for many different reasons. First, technology has made great advancements through computers, cell phones, social media, and many other mediums. The great advancements have allowed information to reach an enormous audience simultaneously. Also, people have constant contact with one another through phones and social media to spread information quickly. Other technology advances has put information at our fingertips instantaneously. Google and other search engines are used to search everything, which has had a large impact on human expression. Technology molds the way humans express themselves on many different levels. It impacts the way in which people think, act, speak, or even create. Technology has given additional means for artist to create pieces through computer programs. Also, technology through the television has allowed information to be filtered through the news especially since they can pick and choose what to reveal or discuss. Especially with the increase in cable that has increased and impacted human expression as well because there are now hundreds of outlets available. Overall, technology has had the greatest impact because it reaches more people at once than the other movements.
