You and your group members are part of an event company. In Part 1 of this assignment the group will create a 'vision & plan' presentation/document for an event by answering the following questions/prompts:  

1. Prepare a name and logo for your Event Company.
   Explain how the group came up with this unique name and share the inspiration (thought process) behind the name of your event company. (Everyone likes a good story, and event company names should be catchy to attract more business, so give this some thought!)  
2. (a). Prepare an infographic and outline clearly the who, what, where, when, why of the event you are preparing for and how many guests are expected at your event (minimum requirement 25 guests)?
   (b). Prepare an event brief: Expand on the infographic prepared in 2.(a)., and provide a detailed description of the event including what exactly the event is about, the expected and guaranteed number of guests expected, who is hosting the event, the name of the event, purpose/vision/goal of the event, and highlight other key details of the event. 
3. Using the internet, find a suitable event venue in the province shared in your group that will fit well for your event. For Ontario Group members, you are not permitted to use the Centennial College Event Centre and are expected to think outside the box. (Ensure you add a link and image of the venue selected.)
   Explain why this venue has been selected for your event, how is it a good match for this particular event (as created in 2(b) and explain what challenges do you foresee of using this particular venue for the event planned in 2(b)?  
   Using the internet, attach a sourced reference image of the event venue and event room. 
4. Now that you know the event venue, what kind of room setup will be used for this event?
   Explain why this setup has been selected for your event, how is it a good match for this particular event (as created in 2(b) and explain what challenges do you foresee of using this particular setup for the event planned in 2(b)?
   Using the internet, attach a sourced reference image to best understand what the setup is expected to look like. 
5. What kind of furniture will be used for this event?
   Explain why the selected furniture would work best for the event planned in 2(b) and what challenges do you think you will face by choosing this furniture for the event? Do not give generic challenges and advantages and be very specific to the event brief in 2(b).

6. Name and explain what type of linen, style and colour will be used for the chair covers, table cloths, napkin folds and any other linen that will be used for the event.
