After you have reviewed the material on cover letters on pages 24 through 27 in The Job-Hunting Handbook, please prepare the cover letter for a position you would be interested in applying for.

ASSIGNMENT 3 - RESEARCHING AN EMPLOYER
This assignment requires online research about an employer that you would like to work for and that you are not familiar with, for example cedars Sinai hospital. You may not do research about current employer. Answer the following questions in short paragraph form for each of the 5 questions. Read pages 6 and 7 of The Job-Hunting Handbook to gain an understanding of the industry outlook of your potential chosen field. The chosen field is nursing.

ASSIGNMENT 4 - CAREER GOALS
Writing down goals is an important practice in your career advancement. Develop career goals for yourself that cover two years, five years, and ten years. Then, for each career goal, develop at least three objectives (steps) for accomplishing each goal. (See the example below)
To really benefit from this assignment, it is first necessary to do a detailed, objective analysis of your strengths, weaknesses, skills, education, financial situation, family obligations, etc. In other words, all the factors that are going to affect your ability to reach whatever goal set for yourself.
