Question: Your organization will be implementing an EHR with the following functions:
1. Registration and Scheduling.
2. Laboratory.
3. Ambulatory.
4. Dictation and Transcription.
As the HIM Director you have been asked by the Chief Information Officer (CIO) consider all of the various data input types and decide which types of data input will be used for each EHR function. Based on your readings and lecture this week on data collection, data types and input, prepare a chart which lists each function, and select and record the data types, data collection method and data types you recommend.
