Description - While most people are familiar with the transgender and non-binary movements and many act as allies and advocates, there is still a lack of knowledge about what is a microaggression, which terminology is no longer accepted, and which terminology should be excluded from daily vocabulary. Many words, expressions, or questions may offend and even hurt transgender and non-binary conforming population and their families.

This week, prepare a brochure outlining the importance of using inclusive language and non-offending questions. The audience for this brochure is high school and college students. Be sure to provide examples of why and how some of the language or behaviors may impact a transgender and/or non-binary individual.

Your paper should also provide at least one community or national service that an individual could contact for help.
