Question - Prepare a Bank Reconciliation for Carter Company as of March 31, 2019, and record the journal entries as needed.

1. The bank statement received by Carter Company states a balance of $12,750. However, the General Ledger - Cash account at Carter Company shows a balance of $4,500.

2. The bank statement indicates a NSF (non-sufficient funds) check was returned in the amount of $75.00 from one of Carter's customers.

3. The accountant for Carter Company notes that a deposit made on March  31st for $250 does not appear on the Bank Statement.

4. The accountant also noted that four checks have not cleared the bank - they are Check #6135 $965, Check #6136 $2000, Check #6137 $3400, Check #6138 $1600.

5. The bank statement also reveals that a customer paid on their account by directly depositing (EFT) $600.00.

6. The accountant notices an error on her part of $10. This error was made when she recorded a check for $44 as $54.
