Research Question & Objectives: Exploratory research is the process of doing a preliminary examination of a problem or situation to identify factors to be studied further and sometimes to even define the problem itself. In an exploratory research, the purpose is to define "customer satisfaction" rather than try to measure it. The hypothesis of the research is that there will be factors that are common to one group and not the other. In future studies, these factors can be measured against 1] customers of unknown customer satisfaction and 2) new customers in order to see which factors best predict their satisfaction in the future.
