In order to predict the sales price of a sports car, several factors are being investigated. These factors include the speed at ¼ mile (mph), horsepower, and curb weight (in lbs). The data is provided below. You should be able to copy and paste this into an Excel file.:

Dependent Variable:

  • The price of the vehicle (Example: A value of 25.035 represents $25,035).

Independent Variables:

  • The quarter mile speed
  • The horsepower
  • The curb weight.
