The permeation rates of CH4 and CO2 in a GASEP membrane at 80°F were given as 0.00205 and 0.0413 ft' (std conditions)/ft'-h-(lbf/in.'), respectively. At 100°F the corresponding values were 0.00290 and 0.0425.

(a) Calculate the apparent activation energies for permeation of CH4 and CO2 ,

(b) Predict the permeabilities and the CO,/CH. selectivity at 100°F.
