Throughout the day, my preceptor and I maintained close contact by reviewing our assigned clients in the morning. preceptor granted me the autonomy to independently conduct my assessments and administer medications. Whenever client's condition deviated from the norm, I collaborated with my preceptor to determine what information I needed communicate to the MRP. Furthermore, my preceptor diligently reviewed my charting throughout the day and pointed out any missing details. also promptly informed me of nursing opportunities and skills that were ordered, such as inserting a Foley catheter administering an IM medication. We would then review these procedures, and I would perform them under the supervision of my preceptor. At the end of each shift, my preceptor conducted a debriefing session to discuss the day's events. This allowed us to on both the positive aspects and areas for improvement, providing valuable insights for the next shift set.
