José's current income covers his personal expenses and allows him to save a very small amount per month. At work, José has been offered extra hours per week. Although he would like to be able to save more for college, taking the extra hours will require him to give up soccer and youth group. He is not likely to get a college soccer scholarship. What is the best decision José could make? Even if it means very little social and leisure time, he should take the extra hours. As long as he still has time to see his friends and to relax, he should take the extra hours. Because he enjoys soccer and youth group, he should not take the extra hours. He should give up his job altogether to practice soccer in hopes of earning a scholarship.
