Practice Makes Perfect For this learning exercise, we will imagine that a new medical clinic, ProMed Institute, is opening its doors in Bethlehem. Your small business has been recommended to the administrator of the clinic. You have received a letter asking you to provide information about your service. The new medical clinic specializes in sports medicine, physical therapy and cardiac rehabilitation services. It is interested in retaining your company, rather than hiring its own employees to perform the service your company offers. First decide what service your business will offer. It can be landscaping, uniform supply, laundry, general cleaning, computerized filing systems, medical supplies, patient transportation, temporary office support, etc. Then, develop a letter proposal outlining your proposal to supply this service. Your proposal must include the six principal components outlined in the text: introduction, background, proposal, staffing, budget and authorization. You will most likely need to 'create' facts and figures to completethis assignment, so feel free to do so. Address your letter to Mr. Jack Dawson, Director, ProMed Institute, 700 N. Main Street, Bethlehem, PA 18020. Please note, you will be asked to create a follow-up PowerPoint presentation for your proposal in Class Fourteen.
