Potential Promotions For my employee that has been there for 14 years and has never been promoted to co-lead or supervisor, now that a supervisor position has opened, the organization would like to train him/her to see if they are a good fit. He will be trained on new technology and be reviewed each week for his progress. These reviews will also present the 14-year employee what they need to do to be a more efficient worker and supervisor. His stated remarks about he'll quit if not given the chance will be discussed as professionals and with great intent. All employees have the opportunity and potential to be promoted. These promotions are based on "best fit" not by the years of service. We will encourage and advocate all those whom feel they deserve an opportunity to prove to the company that they deserve a reasonable promotion (Rohman et. al, 2018). If our 14-year employee feels that they have been overlooked, they may send their grievance to human resources, otherwise, he will be given the opportunity to prove themselves in the pilot program under special supervision.
