Begin by brainstorming behaviors that you engage in that might have a negative impact on the environment. Some examples include driving a car, watering the lawn, falling asleep with the television on, or littering.

Once you have a list of potentially damaging behaviors that you'd like to know more about, conduct research to see what the local environmental impact of those behaviors are.

Write a 2-3-page paper that describes the behaviors and their potential impact on the local ecosystems.

As you write, consider the roles of ethics, markets, and law in these behaviors.

Conclude by arguing whether or not such behaviors should change, why or why not, and Projects must include references to the textbook and to at least two outside sources.
