If appropriate, you may select a standard from the counseling regulatory body for the state or country in which you reside. Consider how the standard you selected might affect working with groups within your specialization and the impact a violation of that standard might have on the group process, group leader, and members.

With these thoughts in mind:

Post a description of the legal or ethical standard you selected. Then, explain one way the standard you selected might affect working with groups within your specialization (e.g., Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Addictions Counseling). Finally, explain one implication for the group process, one implication for group members, and one implication for the group leader if the group leader were to violate the selected standard.
