Scott, a first year college student who wants to become a lawyer is getting ready to return home for the summer. His mother has made it clear that he needs to do something productive with his time and that he has to earn enough to cover his summer spending.

Ideally, Scott would find a paid internship in this field. He talked to a local judge to see if there were any internships available. While the judge would like to have Scott work for the summer, he made it clear that he has no money to pay for an internship. Since a paid internship with the judge didn't work out, Scott is leaning toward Plan B, working for a friend of the family. It would put money in his pocket, but no relevant experience on his resume.
