You made some excellent points on how you can motivate others to be more inclusive. Setting a positive example and promoting open communication can go a long way toward creating an inclusive workplace. I have had leaders who did not care about others' opinions and only wanted to do things their way. They were leaders that created a negative work environment, making it difficult to communicate with them. The one thing I learned from those leaders was how not to lead, which was an essential step in creating the leader I am today.
