So what about conflict? Positive conflict can be good for an organization.
It can help the group avoid or overcome groupthink. Positive conflict challenges our beliefs - it encourages us to view situations in a different light. Negative conflict is disruptive. Employees feel anxious - they aren't sure what is happening or what will happen next. They look to leadership to sort it out.
