Question

One of the key insights of sociology is that almost all our thoughts, behaviors, and concerns are connected to our position in and interactions with the social world. This is the "non-individualistic/structural perspective" of sociology. For example, we may evaluate and adjust our behavior in relationship to those people we most closely identify with [26], or we may pursue particular forms of action and behavior in order to obtain the positive approval of particular individuals [27]. We are also members of social networks that can often provide us with valuable information and connections.
