Purpose of this assignment is to provide the opportunity to demonstrate the application of Michael Porter's Five Forces Model of Competition to a specific industry segment and to demonstrate also the application of the Value Chain Analysis that we discussed in class.

1. Please pick a small/medium sized Canadian business and discuss how each of the Porter's Five Forces applies to it. Support your answer with at least 2-3 points per force.

2. Research the steps in the Value Chain process and describe how each of the elements can impact the business you chose in question 1 both positively and negatively.

3. Base on your analysis is questions 1 and 2, do you think this is a company you would like to work for when you graduate? Why or why not?
