During June 6-9, 2008 a poll was conducted for NBC News and the Wall Street Journal in which 1,000 likely voters were asked questions on a range of issues facing America. One question and its results are given below.
In thinking about the next president that we'll be electing, which of the following two statements comes closer to your point of view? (IF "BOTH," ASK :) I understand that you feel that they are both important, but if you had to choose the ONE statement that come closer to your point of view. Which would you choose?
