In this way, a population can be forecasted to be in danger ahead of time.

Consider a population that experienced a population boom some 60-80 years ago, has increased its life expectancy, and the newest two generations are of many fewer people. How might you expect the social dynamic to be impacted once this large population begins to retire? Will there be enough people to work their jobs? Will there be enough people in the workforce to generate tax funds to aid them in social security so these elderly people can have a means of a small income?
