Thesis Statement: Each paper should have a thesis statement.

A sentence that clearly articulates the focus of the paper. The paper should be written in the 3rd person (the research, the findings, this paper etc.)

Do not write in the first person, I, me, my, etc. Style: Each student will write their paper using APA style.

The paper should have a Title Page (abstract optional) and References Page.

Sources: The paper should have at least five different sources, with a minimum of three peer reviewed journal articles.

Length of Paper: The paper should be between 4 - 7 pages double spaced (not including the title and References page). Structure: Try to have a clear beginning, middle and end to the paper.

The format should be as follows:

Intro: Begin with general comments about the field and/or topic, then narrow the scope until the topic is addressed.

The thesis typically comes at the end of the introduction and should be labeled "THESIS STATEMENT".

Body: This section should introduce and focus on the research that addresses the central idea (thesis).

Conclusion: This section should summarize the paper and offer closing comments and conclusion.

The term "Each paper should have a thesis statement" is this relevant for every weeks' assignment or for the present assignment only. Because it is given as a single topic "Mass Media and American Politics" for which the solution is needed to be prepared. Oh im sorry,,,The Practice and Profession of Political Journalism would be my Topic....With that being said since its only One Paper....the cost was will the cost remain the same??? since it being only Main Topic...
