Dingwerth and Pattberg state that "whereas international relations is largely interested in politics between and among states, the term global governance does not establish such hierarchy...in essence, global governance implies a multiactor perspective of world politics ". This statement implies that non state actors are as important as the 'states' when it comes to global governance. Not everyone agrees with this statement. What do you think? Do you think there is a hierarchy among actors when it comes to the role they play in global governance? why/why not? If you think there is a hierarchy, which of these actors, play more important roles when it comes to global governance? Why? Justify your explanations.
