In a steam power plant which utilizes Rankine cycle, steam enters the turbine at 100 bar and 400oC. It expands with an isentropic efficiency of 0.85 to a pressure where the dryness fraction is 0.87. At this point the water in the steam is extracted from the turbine and led through a throttling valve to the condenser. The remaining steam continues expansion with an isentropic efficiency of 0.80 the condenser pressure of 0.05 bar. Plot the cycle on T-S and H-S diagrams then find:

a- The extraction pressure of the water,
b- The final dryness fraction before entering the condenser,
c- The thermal efficiency of the cycle and its specific steam consumption.
