Response 1:
As in society there are different type of social activities or we can say that social conflicts such as class division, religion division and status division. All these factors cause conflicts and there are many nonparticipants such as in political parties when there is different point of view of different parties and there are many non- participants who do not agree with their views and do no participate. For instance, religious division also create the non- participation situation as there are different religion activities and priority is given to the people who are of that religion or group and they do not care about others. Thus, it causes non- participation of other people. There are various types of power instruments such as compensatory power, coercive, and conditioned power which is used differently by different people.. However, there are some powerful elite who ruled over societies and use their wealth to gain power and high social status which shows they directly participate in power accumulation with which they can control the sources of power or status with their money. People who have high status in society use their power to influence to get power and then they use their power to influence society and politics. Furthermore, I think all these things are definitely related to power instrument.

Response 2:
There are three instruments of power such as, coercive, compensatory and conditioned. While coercive comes with the official power, compensatory power comes as a reward for complying to coercive power and conditioned power is one's ability to persuade others to follow one. However, most of the societies are ruled by the power elites who with their wealth attain high social status and use their social status to accumulate power. This would mean that whether or not they participate in direct power accumulation, they would control the sources of power through their wealth.

Thus, they would control the power center of the country and force them to introduce laws and policies that would further help them control more wealth. Most of those who have high social status would naturally align themselves in acquiring some sort of power in the society although they may not financially benefit from those power or position. They use their influence to acquire power and in turn use their power to influence society and politics. Nevertheless, they use one of the power instruments to continue to influence people and power centers to dominate the society and politics.

Response 3:
In society, there are different types of social classes are intertwined and the class hierarchy is based on various matters.
First, a class system constitutes a set of social inequalities within which there are deep conflicts of interest. So a class system sets the stage for the exercise of power; various groups have an interest in wielding power over others within a class system. The economic condition causes many levels in the society and there appears to conflict. Both the power-conflict and the status-hierarchy models of class structure. all societies are the outcome of such a conflict process, all consist of structures of expectations, all are built on multiple and overlapping balances of powers among individuals.
Religious division is also a cause of nonparticipation. Most people think religion is the root of the world's problems, according to a recent international study. ... the majority of respondents identified religion as the "primary source of most global conflict today."
color discrimination and racism also cause nonparticipation. to explain, Racial discrimination may occur because of overt prejudice, hostility, or negative feelings held by someone about a racialized person.

Response 4:
Social power is based on objective factors like wealth, education, and the occupation of a person. sometimes these factors change the power meaning for others. a person who is good with money has good qualifications and a high-level job or government job. people aren't looking at the skills of a person when they just assess the personality by wealth, education, and job status.

Non-participation can include the reason for having less money to participate in any contest. today money matters most. Education decides the level of knowledge, no one can participate in an education fair if education is not sufficient for that level. the occupation decides the earning, education, and standard of a person. non-partipitaion can be the reason for these factors too.
