This course certainly offered a lot of information relating to Risk Management. Tools and techniques I have learned and plan to use going forward. Planning sessions are recommended in order to build a common understanding of the project's risk approach between project stakeholders and to gain agreement on the techniques to be used for managing risk. Beyond the normal project team meetings, implementing a planning session prior to the project to assign the initial risk responsibilities, methodology, templates, terms, de?nitions, time schedules, and cost budgets. The planning session will be used to create a firm risk management plan. I really learned to create and understand a risk register to identify, assess and manage potential risk that could impact a project. The risk register identify and documents potential risks that could threaten a project's outcome. I will create a risk register for my department to use whenever my team is playing a major role in a project.
