Diversity assessments are valuable in planning for culturally competent service delivery. To capture all useful information relating to a program's cultural competence, an assessment must be conducted in your community. This assessment has two key goals: To determine how culturally diverse the program's services will be To provide information for a diversity inclusion improvement plan Think of the Windshield Assignment submitted in Module 1 and the Gap (need) Analysis submitted in Module 2 where you identified a program need not currently being met. You can see examples of cultural differences by watching the videos for this assignment. Answer the following questions about the community health program that you are planning. Each answer requires a minimum of four to five sentences. What is the composition (demographics) of your community that you assessed? Are all populations represented, especially those who will receive service in the healthcare program you are developing? If not, why are you focused on that particular population/group? What will you do to develop your program to include all the needs of diverse populations?
