You have been employed in a company that advises people who are interested in starting their own business. Your supervisor has asked you to write a promotional article of around 1500 words to encourage people to start their own businesses. The work must be in formal English and use appropriate references as it will be published in an academic journal.

The article should start by introducing the reader to the general concept of innovation and entrepreneurship and consider the personal characteristics required by someone who will successfully launch their own business.

Using reliable sources, the article should discuss the risks that innovators and entrepreneurs take before outlining the rewards of a successful entrepreneurial venture.

The second part of the article should look at the importance of planning and the development of the business plan.

This section should look at the areas that a business plan should cover and the value of a detailed SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analysis on the business concept chosen.
