General information to Learners

Th  this assessment requires you to: 

• Plan and organise workplace activities for a work group relating to sustainability.
• Use the workplace and work group that have been the focus of previous Assessments as the focus for this Exercise.

Thi This Assessment is to be completed in your own time out-of-class but some time may be allocated by  your Trainer for some in-class research and discussion. You can use material obtained as a result of  previous Assessments in this Assessment.

SpSpecific Learner instructions 

Yo  you are required to:

• Plan and organise work group activities to measure use of resources by the work group for a given current period of time.
• Plan and organise work group activities to identify three environmental and resource efficiency issues for the work group developing solutions for same.
• Plan and organise work group activities to evaluate the three identified environmental and resource efficiency solutions and generate implementation protocols for same.
• Plan and organise work group activities to introduce and assimilate the three identified environmental and resource efficiency solutions into standard operating procedures - note that two of these will form the focus of The Practical Exercise Assessment.
• Plan and organise work group activities to enable work group compliance with environmental obligations that affect them.
• Develop tools to enable evaluation and monitoring of sustainability initiatives.

Cr  Criteria for success

Th  The decision making rules that will be followed are:

• Learners must address all requirements of the Exercise and submit copies of all documents required.
• All tasks must be completed as required.
• Where a Learner does not complete tasks correctly, they will be provided an opportunity to repeat the assessment at a later date.
